Quick & Easy Apple Pie

What is better that cooking an apple pie for your family? An unbelievably easy one to prepare! The magical scent of an apple pie cooking will make all of your worries go away.

Start with five fresh eggs from the farm.

Separate the egg white from the yolks by taping a knife in the middle of the egg, until it lightly cracks.  Let the yolk settle in one half of the shell. Carefully open up the egg over a bowl, allowing the yolk to rest in one of the open halves. Carefully pour the yolk into the other half of the shell, letting the white drip into the bowl. Repeat this step until all of the egg white is transferred, then put the yolk in a separate bowl.

Whisk the egg whites for several minutes until foamy.

Then slowly pour a cup of sugar into the egg whites while whisking until it is of a creamy texture.

While whisking, slowly add one cup of flour and then the five egg yolks. Feel free to add a little bit of cinnamon into the batter.

In order to get great, contrasting flavor in the apple pie, use green, sour apples such as Granny Smith apples.

Slice the apples.

Preheat the oven to 350ºF.

Coat the inside of the baking dish with butter.

Pour the batter into a baking dish and arrange the apple slices on top of the mixture.

Put the pie in the oven and bake for about 25 minutes.

Use a toothpick to check if the pie is done. Poke with toothpick in the middle, if it is dry, the pie is done!
